Eventim UK CEO Simon Presswell has left the company.
A spokesman for Eventim, the UK arm of the pan-European ticketing giant, confirmed Presswell’s departure after less than a year in the role. Eventim UK chairman Nick Blackburn is expected to take temporary charge, reports IQ.
A former MD of rival Ticketmaster UK, Presswell (pictured) joined Eventim in 2015, having previously held executive positions at SkyIQ, the Insights business of BSkyB, was senior vice president of marketing and digital at NBC Universal TV, and held the position of managing director at Universal Parks and Resorts.
He has also worked in a number of senior roles across international operations of digital and insight driven businesses such as Citrix Online, private equity owned Travelport, American Express and Thomas Cook before launching the hyper growth stages of LastMinute.com.
Presswell has not commented.
