Coldplay are the first headline act to be confirmed for Glastonbury Festival 2016.
They will top the Pyramid Stage bill on Sunday, June 26.
The band will become the first act to headline Glastonbury on four occasions, following previous Pyramid Stage headline appearances in 2002, 2005 and 2011.
The performance will be Coldplay’s only festival show of the year. Jeff Lynne’s ELO have previously been confirmed to play the legends' slot on the same day.
