Two of the UK's top festivals have unveiled their 2018 line-ups.
Bestival, set for the Lulworth Estate, Dorset for August 2-5, will see headline sets from London Grammar on Saturday night and Jorja Smith on Thursday in the Big Top, with the Friday headliner still to be announced. M.I.A. will close the festival on the Sunday evening. Other performers will include Grace Jones, Plan B, Chaka Kahn, First Aid Kit and Django Django.
"With UK festival exclusive headliners London Grammar and Jorja Smith to legends in the game Chaka Khan, Jimmy Cliff and Grace Jones, and always representing the new blood from Mura Masa and IAMDDB to Mabel and Idles, we’re covering all bases," said Bestival founder Rob Da Bank.
"As any Bestival veteran knows we don't just do music, so come and check our Hot Yoga, Dubstep Dodgem rides, wood-fired hot tubs, AmbientLand craft tent, East 17’s Christmas Party!, and loads of circus-based trickery, including a Human Cannonball, high wire fire walking and a pretty buff strongman popping up on the Main Stage.”
Elsewhere, returning for its 13th year, Y Not will take place in Pikehall, Derbyshire from July 27-29 with headliners The Libertines, Catfish And The Bottlemen and Jamiroquai. Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Chiefs, Fat White Family and Pale Waves are among other acts on the bill.
The 2017 edition of Y Not was cancelled halfway through due to adverse weather conditions.
Festival organiser Simon Mawbey said: "We're so happy to be back with our biggest line up to date. There are a lot of changes and improvements being made to make sure the festival is the best it's ever been in 13 years and I'm excited that we can come back stronger than ever.”
