Spotify has announced the line-up for the return of its Who We Be Live show to London's Alexandra Palace on November 28.
Presented by Live Nation, acts will include AJ Tracey, Craig David, French Montana, Ghetts, Lethal Bizzle, Not3s, NSG, Raye and Tory Lanez. Tickets go on sale on at 10am on Friday (October 5).
Austin Daboh (pictured), Spotify's head of shows and editorial in the UK, said: “We’re really excited about returning to Alexandra Palace for the second instalment of Who We Be live. The line-up represents the very best of both national and international artists, and we are thrilled to be bringing a stellar line-up of artists together for this event.”
The sold-out inaugural Who We Be Live event – inspired by the streaming platform’s UK urban playlist Who We Be – took place at Alexandra Palace last autumn and featured artists including Giggs, Dizzee Rascal, J Hus and Cardi B. The Who We Be Live series expanded to an O2 Academy Birmingham show in June.
Who We Be is curated by Spotify’s in-house urban music team. It has more than 370,000 followers and has promoted rising UK rap, grime, Afrobeat and urban talent to a wider audience. Its support for tracks such as Bestie, which progressed to the Hot Hits UK playlist, helped Yungen score a hit alongside Yxng Bane.
