AEG Global Partnerships have signed a naming rights deal with European insurance company Verti for Berlin’s newest venue.
From autumn 2018, the Verti Music Hall At Mercedes Platz will host concerts, shows and corporate events. Owned and operated by AEG, which also runs The O2 in London, the state of the art venue will have a capacity of 4,500 fans.
The venue sits within the transformed Mercedes-Benz Platz, home to AEG's Mercedes-Benz Arena.
“The partnership with AEG will be of great benefit to our brand”, said José Ramón Alegre, CEO of the Verti Versicherung AG. “Verti represents an insurance culture that conveys optimism and positivity. At the Verti Music Hall this brand ethos will play a part in every visitor experience. We are excited to become a visible part of the cultural environment of the German capital.”
Paul Samuels, AEG's VP of global partnerships, added: “Berlin is one of the most exciting and creative cities in Europe and this latest venue will add to its cultural diversity. Verti has chosen to partner with us to create this special venue; to reach music and entertainment fans and place their brand at the centre of one of the most exciting districts in the city. We look forward to working with them to make this venue a truly amazing experience for fans and artists.”
The agreement also gives Verti access to several multimedia displays at Mercedes Platz and a commitment to work together on an integrated social media and CRM strategy to reach fans in the city.
