The music industry is set for a fourth consecutive year of growth amidst firm signs that the streaming boom is here to stay.
Year-to-date figures for the first three quarters of the year from the BPI show Album Equivalent Sales (AES) up 7.3% on this time last year. AES grew 9.5% in 2017, 1.5% in 2016, and 3.7% in 2015. The last year that sales fell was in 2014.
