Details of the 10th annual Record Store Day have been revealed, with the global event set to take place around the world on Saturday, April 22.
Launched in 2008 to celebrate physical record store, the event has grown into a global phenomenon over the past 10 years, with more and more retailers getting involved every year. Thousands of stores and artists the world over have embraced Record Store Day during that time, with special releases and live performances now a staple of the initiative.
Record Store Day has also been instrumental in helping drive the vinyl revival which, according to BPI year-end figures, hit a 25-year sales high.
