Kobalt has signed a worldwide administration agreement with publishing company Blue Raincoat Songs, which was co-founded by industry veterans, Jeremy Lascelles and Robin Millar. In addition, Chrysalis Records and Kobalt Label Services have signed a global label services deal. As such, KLS will be providing distribution services to the newly independent label and catalogue. Both respective deals are effective immediately.

Chrysalis Records, one of the leading British independent labels responsible for shaping the global music industry, was recently purchased in a deal led by Lascelles and Millar.
The agreement saw the co-founder and original owner of Chrysalis Chris Wright CBE, reunited with the label as he returns as non-executive chairman of the label 27 years after selling the company to EMI.
