This year's nominees for the European Independent Album Of The Year award all come via young labels - those which have been around for fewer than 15 years, in fact.
The new piece of criteria follows IMPALA's own 15th anniversary, while the award itself is turning five. It was launched in 2011, together with the annual Outstanding Contribution To European Music award, to mark the 10th anniversary of IMPALA.
