Executives from top labels have declared themselves happy with the Official Singles Chart’s first week under its new rules.
Music Week revealed the chart revamp in its June 26 issue. The number of tracks in the Top 100 by the same lead artist is now capped at three, while any track that declines for three successive weeks, having been on the chart for at least 10 weeks, now has its streams:sales ratio increased to hasten its departure.
