Epic UK MD Dougie Bruce is leaving Sony Music.
Music Week understands Bruce, who has been MD of the UK label since 2013, initially in partnership with Steven Melrose, left this week.
Music Week understands there are no immediate plans to replace Bruce and that Colin Barlow’s red-hot RCA label will be assisting with Epic artists and releases for the time-being.
Earlier this week, Ferdy Unger-Hamilton was announced as the new president of Columbia Records UK.
