Independent distributor and label services company The Orchard has promoted Cat Kreidich as its new SVP, global account management.
In her new role, Kreidich will be responsible for managing and maintaining The Orchard’s relationships with retail partners. This includes overseeing the company’s commercial strategy, digital sales, retail marketing, account operations, curation, playlisting and audience development.
In addition, she will continue to help grow The Orchard’s business and drive revenue opportunities with existing clients and evolving market players. She will report to COO Colleen Theis.
“Cat is an accomplished leader on our team and she has been an instrumental contributor to The Orchard’s continuing growth and success,”Theis said. “During her tenure, her responsibilities have evolved and grown, rising from head of North American digital sales in a download-focused market to global oversight of an increasingly complex multi-national consumer retail offering. We are thrilled to have her taking on this expanded role.”
Kreidich brings 18 years’ industry experience to the role. Before she joined The Orchard six years ago back in 2011, she was North American digital head at ADA Distribution (WMG). She also worked as head of sales at Ultra Records, in physical retail marketing at Caroline Distribution (EMI), and in radio promotion at Virgin Records. Her career in music started in new media at Universal/Motown Records.
