BMG US has promoted Zach Katz to president of the company's music publishing operations.
Based in Los Angeles, Katz reports to New York-based BMG president of creative and marketing Laurent Hubert.
Katz joined in 2012 what was then known as BMG Chrysalis as executive VP, and was promoted to chief creative officer in 2014. Prior to BMG, Katz was CEO of indie label Beluga Heights, which he co-founded with producer J.R. Rotem in 2007.
