AIM's Indie-Con confirmed for 2018 return

AIM's Indie-Con conference has been confirmed to return to London's Glaziers Hall on Wednesday, February 8.

The event will take an in-depth look at key areas of the independent music business, offering networking and learning opportunities.

Sessions will include A&R in the Digital Age; Let’s Get Physical! Tapping into the Vinyl Resurgence; What Can A Record Label Do For You in 2018? and Plugging Away: How To Get Your Music Onto Radio and Playlists, in addition to a keynote with a speaker to be announced. Previous keynotes have included figures such as Sire Records founder Seymour Stein and Mumford & Sons' Ben Lovett.

Confirmed speakers include WIN CEO Alison Wenham, [PIAS] chief creative officer Jane Third, ERA chairman Kim Bayley, Ninja Tune A&R manager Vidhi Gandhi, Razor & Tie president Victor Zaraya, BBC Radio 6 Music presenter Jon Hillcock and J Willgoose Esq of Public Service Broadcasting.

Last year's conference sold out and had more than 450 independent music professionals in attendance.

Tickets are available now for the event, which is open to both AIM members and non-members. Early bird tickets are available to members until December 20.
