“Have conviction and belief in your talents and strengths. If you’re a woman, avoid being one of the lads too early on. Learn, learn, learn.

And find a mentor – preferably somebody who’s not in the company you’re working in. It builds confidence and gives you a support system and a go-to that is protected.
