BBC Radio 1Xtra host DJ Ace has become the UK’s first ever DJ/curator to take over a Spotify playlist.
The presenter (pictured) has secured a four-week takeover of the Room 2: Urban Classics playlist, beginning his reign on Monday (August 14).
"I'm so happy to be the first DJ in the UK to take over a playlist on Spotify. This is the perfect playlist for me - I get to combine what I do on the radio and in the clubs," he said. "Expect to hear all your favourite party classics from back in the day.”
With over 120,000 followers, the Room2: Urban Classics playlist is a selection of DJ Ace’s favourite old school urban tunes, check it out here. DJ Ace can also be heard weekdays from 10am on BBC Radio 1Xtra.
