The Music Week Tech Summit Together With O2 has attracted some huge names from across the music and technology businesses. From Apple Music’s Zane Lowe to Facebook’s Vanessa Bakewell, Amazon Music’s Paul Firth to Ingrooves’ Amy Dietz, the biggest companies and leading execs are all represented.
But the Summit, held on October 8 at the O2, will also give you the opportunity to meet six of the most innovative music-related startups out here.
Our Startup Initiative, held in association with leading music biz conference MIDEM, saw dozens of companies apply for the chance to exhibit in front of hundreds of leading execs at the conference – and now Music Week can reveal the lucky six winners, as selected by a panel of music and technology experts. Here’s the winners’ pitch to you, the music business…
Breathe Music

Payment is handled securely using Encore Pay, and reviews are taken after the event to help future customers.
Endlesss
Endlesss is a live multiplayer music-making platform - collaborative, gamified music-making for the Fortnite/Twitch era. Endlesss is based around the creation, sharing, remixing and listening of 'Rifffs’ - small chunks of music that are quick and simple to create and share. As media and gaming converge, the huge opportunity to connect and amplify the hundreds of millions of casual music-makers around the globe is ripe to be taken.
Seatfair
Seatfair is the world's first preference-led ticketing platform. Capturing the full value of a show during the primary sale by allowing fans to tell you where they'd like to sit, and how much they're prepared to pay for that seat, eliminates the inflated prices in the secondary market that both fans and artists hate. It’s a bid-based, open market where fans determine ticketing pricing; the software's agnostic architecture allowing seamless integration with existing ticketing systems.
Seeqnc
Seeqnc built the world’s first platform to track music usage and notify creators, labels and performance rights organisations in real time. Performing DJs and bands are using Seeqnc technology to track the music they are playing and generate setlists on the spot. Producers and labels can now use this data for the first time to generate a live picture of their music footprint.
Snaptivity
Snaptivity enhances the live-music fan experience by aiming our cameras at the crowd. Snaptivity is an award-winning smart venue technology company (two Gold Cannes Lions and more). Innovative sensors developed by the company track crowd movement and collect numerous data points like sound, light, ambience, etc. This big data is analysed using AI algorithms to understand the behaviour and emotions of the fans along with the venue environment. This triggers robotic cameras to capture candid peak moments for every fan. Fans enter their seat details/area they were standing and get their best candid gig photos, where he/she is always in the centre of an image.
