Jack Radio has partnered with the Music Week Women In Music Awards to sponsor the Roll Of Honour.
The Roll Of Honour welcomes 12 new inductees each year, and already includes an array of stellar names, from Sony Music’s Nicola Tuer and Decca’s Rebecca Allen, to Capitol’s Jo Charrington and MBC PR’s Barbara Charone.
Belinda Doyle, programme director at Jack Radio said: “As the first commercial radio station in the UK to broadcast an all-female playlist, Jack Radio is delighted to be sponsoring this year’s Roll Of Honour; recognising women who have made a significant contribution across the industry.”
Doyle added: “These awards not only celebrate women in music, they also play a vital role in developing a more inclusive industry. We look forward to celebrating alongside these inspirational women.”
Jack Radio launched in October 2018 and posted a Q2 RAJAR figure of 125,000, up 47.1% on the previous quarter.
Held in association with AIM and UK Music, the sixth annual ceremony takes place at The Brewery in London on Friday, November 8.
