The Q2 2016 RAJAR figures are out and it’s safe to say that radio is far from dead. A total of 48.7 million adults, or roughly 90% of the UK population, tuned in each week for an average of 21.5 hours.
The figures also indicate that 59% (32 million people) of the population are listening to digital radio each week with the share of digital listening increasing to 45.3%, from 39.9% in Q2 2015 and 36.8% in Q2 2014.
