Ticketmaster International’s VP of artist services Sam Isles has been named executive of the year at the Ticketing Technology Awards in Dublin.
Isles (pictured), who is also MD of TicketWeb, has worked in the ticketing industry for almost three decades, starting at the Arts Theatre Cambridge in 1987.
Relocating to London, she worked as box office manager at Brixton Academy before developing a ticket agency that became the foundation on which Academy Music Group launched TicketWeb UK.
From 2004 to 2006, Isles moved from head of operations and sales, to general manager of TicketWeb, to head of artist services for Ticketmaster UK. From 2012, Sam has served VP of artist services for Ticketmaster International, and in this time her and the team have successfully launched the division across 15 markets internationally. Alongside this in 2014, she was appointed managing director of TicketWeb.
The Ticketing Technology Awards were held as part of the The Ticketing Technology Forum, which brought together ticketing technologies from all sectors and a range of new market entrants from April 27-28.
