Universal Music Group has appointed veteran digital media innovator and entrepreneur Ty Roberts to the newly created role of chief technology officer.
The role involves overseeing UMG’s technology strategy and direct new initiatives that leverage the company’s digital assets, infrastructure and data resources.
Roberts will be based in Santa Monica, LA, and will report to Michael Nash, EVP of digital strategy.
