Kendrick Lamar was the big winner on the night at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on August 27. The ceremony – hosted by Katy Perry – saw the rapper take home six awards, including video of the year for Humble. Other notable moments included the world premiere of Taylor Swift’s video Look What You Made Me Do, an emotional tribute to Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell, Pink taking home the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and performances from Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Pink, Sir Rod Stewart and DNCE, Ed Sheeran and Lil Uzi Vert, Miley Cyrus, Logic and Khalid, Demi Lovato, 30 Seconds To Mars, Fifth Harmony and Gucci Mane, Shawn Mendes, Lorde, Kyle, Julia Michaels and Alessia Cara.
