Jack Savoretti is heading for his first UK No.1 album, as Singing To Strangers powers ahead of the chasing pack.

The singer/songwriter's sixth LP has sold 20,452 copies so far according to the Official Charts midweeks, more than three times as many as the 6,607 units moved by Tom Walker's former chart-topper What A Time To Be Alive, which rises 5-2.
