Gorillaz will make their long-awaited live comeback at Demon Dayz, a new one-day festival curated by the band’s Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.
Set to take place at Dreamland amusement park in Margate on June 10, the festival will feature Gorillaz in the headline slot, their first UK show since 2010’s Plastic Beach tour. Spread across three stages, the rest of the line-up is yet to be announced. The event is presented by AEG Presents and Goldenvoice and will be broadcast exclusively on Red Bull TV.
Tickets for Demon Dayz Festival are £60 (plus booking fee) and include free admission to Dreamland Margate amusement park. They are on sale from 9am on Friday March 10. Demon Dayz follows in the footsteps of By The Sea festival, which launched in 2015 and returns to Dreamland from 29-30 September 2017.
The biggest selling Gorillaz album to date is 2005’s Demon Days, which has sold 1,809,215 copies, according to the Official Charts Company.
