Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Lada Gaga, Pink, The Killers and Sam Smith are among the artists to feature on a new Elton John covers album.
Virgin EMI will release Revamp on April 6. It follow the Diamonds greatest hits in Q4 last year.
The album of reinterpretations of classic songs written by Elton John and Bernie Taupin includes Bennie And The Jets (Elton John, Pink and Logic), We All Fall In Love Sometimes (Coldplay), Tiny Dancer (Florence + The Machine), Daniel (Sam Smith) and Your Song (Lady Gaga).
Elton John said: “As songwriters, Bernie and myself are thrilled when singers we admire and respect as much as those on Revamp choose to add their own unique twist in the process. It means that our music is still relevant and ultimately that our songs continue to reach new audiences. We're humbled and thank them all for their generosity.”
John recently announced an extensive farewell tour.
