Ariana Grande has announced a five-date UK tour for August and September 2019 – and has promised to stage a "special" show in Manchester.
Alongside two nights at the O2 in London (August 17 and 19), the singer will play shows in Birmingham (September 14), Glasgow (17) and Sheffield (19), plus she has said she will return to Manchester two years after a terrorist targeted her show at the city's Arena killing 22 people, although she is yet to announce details.
“We are planning a special show," Grande wrote on Instagram of a Manchester gig.
"We need a bit more time getting things together before we can announce that date but we are of course coming and we love you.”
Grande released her fourth album Sweetener earlier this year, while her recent single Thank U, Next is currently spending its sixth consecutive week at No.1and is favourite to be 2018's Christmas No.1. It has sold 430,287 to date, according to the Official Charts Company.
A follow-up single, Imagine, was also released last Friday (December 14).
