Amanda Palmer Kickstarter passes $1m

The artist posted on Twitter: "WE. FUCKING. DID IT. $1,000,000 OF PURE FUTURE ARTMUSIC ASSKICKING".
Palmer was aiming to collect $100,000 in pre-orders and fan investment at the start of the Kickstarter campaign, which became a hot topic in the music industry when that initial figure was achieved in just six hours.
