Winners of the TV talent show just eight days ago (11 December), their cover of Irish singer/songwriter Damien Rice's Cannonball sold more copies in a week than any single this year. However, it didn't sell as spectacularly as some of its X Factor predecessors, topping the chart on first week sales of 210,129 - less than half the 439,007 copies that Matt Cardle's When We Collide sold on its introductory frame last year.
