UK Midweek Chart: Snow Patrol and One Direction set for number one spot

Despite the success of the band since the 2006 release of single, Chasing Cars, Snow Patrol have yet to have an album debut at number one, however the Northern Irish/ Scottish group face tough competition from Epic-signed JLS' third album, which is currently less than 200 units behind at number two in the OCC mid-week charts.
