SoundRain allows SoundCloud users to sell their own downloads
Wednesday, May 18th 2011 at 1:09PMSales can be facilitated directly in the browser and users can select which of their tracks they want to make available to buy. They will appear with a 'buy with Minno' link, allowing one-click purchases.
Tracks will retail for $0.99 (?0.61) and when sales pass $10 (?6.16), they will be sent to the artists via PayPal.
SoundRain was developed at the recent Music Hack Day event in San Francisco, meshing the APIs of both SoundCloud and Minno.
