Compilation sales alone were up 43.5% week-on-week, driven by targeted releases including the EMI / Universal treble-album Dad Rocks! and Universal's 60's-70's-80's themed triple-set Dad's Jukebox. Compilations from dad rock faves such as Bruce Springsteen & The E-Street Band, George Harrison, Meat Loaf and Mike Oldfield helped raise overall artist sales 17.9% higher than the previous week.
