Blue Raincoat Music founder Jeremy Lascelles has said he believes new publishing signings Cabbage are “the most important band in Britain today”.

Announcing the worldwide deal exclusively in Music Week, Lascelles said: “I see them as an archetypally British band in attitude and perspective, in a similar way to the Sex Pistols or Arctic Monkeys. Their quality suggests they can compete on a worldwide stage.”
