Swedish rights organisation STIM has signed a licensing agreement that will see its music creators, composers and authors to earn revenues from the video platform on a pan-Europe basis.
Similarly, international creators, composers and authors will be able to earn revenues in Sweden on YouTube as a result of the deal.
STIM CEO Kenth Muldin said that the deal means its rights-holders and affiliates will benefit from a fair rate of pay for their YouTube content from now on.
