Universal Music Group parent Vivendi has reiterated that the music company is not for sale, after US activist hedge fund P. Schoenfield Asset Management (PSAM) called for it to be sold.
In a statement, the Vivendi management board confirmed it had received a letter on December 22 last year from PSAM, asking for the sale of UMG.
