Vivendi chief executive Arnaud de Puyfontaine (pictured) has firmly denied any rumours that the Universal parent company will sell its music business.
Reports of a possible divestment surfaced earlier this month, when Liberty Media Group founder John Malone reportedly made an offer for the company.
