Super Bowl attracted over 700,000 Shazams

Last weekend's Super Bowl attracted over 700,000 Shazam tags, leading to millions of interactions.

More than half of those 700,000 Shazams happened during Bruno Mars’ half-time show with the biggest spike in activity coming when he was joined by Red Hot Chili Peppers to sing Give It Away.

Shazam CEO Rich Riley said: "Our timeline experience offered users the ability to replay the ads, catch all the new music as it was unveiled, and get exclusive content."
