Spotify may be poised to introduce time limits on the availability of certain music on its free service, in a bid to encourage users to upgrade to premium subscriptions.
According to a report on The Hits Daily Double, the new model would see free users of the streaming service able to listen to new content for a limited trial period, after which they must sign up for a premium subscription to continue listening.
