Spotify has landed in Brazil, making the streaming service available in 57 markets worldwide.
Whispers about the platform’s arrival in the country started surfacing earlier this month. The reports said that Spotify had originally planned its Brazil launch in September last year but was held up by lengthy negotiations with labels.
Spotify confirmed last week that it now has 10 million paying subscribers and more than 40 million active users across the globe.
