SoundCloud is reportedly offering independent labels less than favourable terms in licensing deals for its streaming platform.
The digital service is said to be giving major labels priority negotiation status and better access to a range of perks, according to Digital Music News sources.
It's a familiar story. Last year, YouTube made headlines for offering the independent community what were said to be ‘indefensible’ and ‘non-negotiable’ terms for its video streaming service YouTube Music Key.
