Rising independent label Black Butter has signed a global deal with Sony Music UK chairman & CEO Jason Iley that will see it become a standalone imprint at the major record company.
Black Butter’s Henry Village and Joe Gossa, who started the label back in 2010, have launched the careers of the likes of Rudimental, Clean Bandit, Gorgon City, Jess Glynne, Dusky and Will Heard.
