Sajid Javid named new Culture Secretary
Tory MP Sajid Javid has been named as the UK's new Culture Secretary, following the resignation of Maria Miller.
Treasury Minister Javid has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bromsgrove since 2010. His new official title in the Cabinet is the Secretary of State for Culture, Media, Sport and Equalities.
In January 2012, The Times newspaper included Javid in its list of the Top 100 Global People to Watch in 2012.
