Rdio has expanded its digital music service to Mexico, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, and Austria.

Music fans in the seven new territories can now sign up and activate free streaming from a catalogue of over 18 million songs at rdio.com, without entering a credit card.

With up to six months of ad-free web streaming available upon sign-up, users can also try Rdio for free on a 14-day mobile trial.
