Queen have been honoured with a PRS for Music Heritage Award, with a commemorative plaque unveiled at Imperial College, the place of their first performance in July 1970.
PRS chairman Guy Fletcher presented the honour to Roger Taylor and Brian May who, as part of the band, achieved 16 number one albums, 18 number one singles and sold over 300 million records.
