PRS for Music is taking SoundCloud to court, after finding itself in a situation with "no alternative to commence legal proceedings".
The streaming service, according to a letter seen by Music Week that has been sent to PRS for Music members today, "continues to deny it needs a PRS for Music licence for its existing service available in the UK and Europe", resulting in no payments seen from plays on its website or app.
