The Music Producers Guild is backing BASCA's campaign to demand a more equitable share of income generated via digital exploitation for songwriters.
Launched in February, and titled The Day The Music Died, BASCA is asking for a 50/50 split in gross royalty income for writers from digital services, as well as a higher proportion of advertising income from platforms such as YouTube.
