Ministry of Sound and Spotify have reached an ‘amicable agreement’ relating to the High Court proceedings issued by Ministry last year.
The lawsuit from Ministry concerned certain user-generated playlists available on Spotify’s online music streaming service.
Ministry of Sound alleged that both the branding and tracklist of many of these playlists were identical to its own compilation albums, and were therefore in breach of copyright.
