Pharrell Williams’ new album is outselling its next seven rivals combined on its way to the UK No 1 spot this weekend.
The RCA-handled G I R L had clocked up around 36,000 sales up to the end of business on Tuesday, according to the Official Charts Company, nearly six times as many copies as Polydor act Ellie Goulding’s Halcyon at No 2 in the midweeks.
