Midem 2014 saw a 4% year-on-year reduction in attendees, with 6,150 people pitching up in Cannes, France this year.
The event opened on Saturday (February 1) and closed yesterday (February 4), when Midem director Bruno Crolot revealed that numbers were down on an attendee figure of 6,400 in 2013.
That continues the trend seen between 2012 and 2013, with attendance sliding that year by 7%.
