A group of European Parliament members have called for a review of The European Copyright Directive to overhaul a "licensing nightmare".
An event hosted by MEPs Amelia Andersdotter, Marietje Schaake and Pawel Zalewski aims to set out the need for change to the directive, which was formulated more than 10 years ago.
Pirate Party MEP Andersdotter said that as it stands, The European Copyright Directive (Infosoc) causes confusion for content users about their rights.
