Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were the top hit songwriters in the UK of 2013, according to Music Week research.

The duo from Seattle in Washington head a countdown based on writing shares of the Official Charts Company’s top 100 downloads of last year thanks to their hits Thrift Shop, Can’t Hold Us and Same Love.
